The UK government scans all of the country’s internet connections

Britain’s National Cyber ​​Security Center (NCSC) has confirmed it is scanning all of the country’s internet-connected servers for potential vulnerabilities to assess where the country lies in terms of its cybersecurity credentials.

The NCSC uses a cloud-based system to run the scan tools, which will come from the domain scanner.scanning.service.ncsc.gov.uk. It will run scans that will “slowly increase” [in] complexity”, similar to what is often done by cybersecurity companies.
